Diamond Bank Plc has rewarded 41 of its loyal customers in the Northern region who participated in its Xtra-savings promotions with over 35million naira in cash and Gift item.
According to the Head, Mass Market Segment Mr Osita Ede the aim of the promo which held over the weekend in Abuja is to show the bank’s appreciation to its valued customers, encourage savings culture in Nigeria as well as reward customers that have been loyal to the bank.
“We are here in continuation of our Diamond aXtra-savings draw season eight. This is the region or directorate base draws and we are here to draw for the Northern Directorate. We launched the campaign sometimes in August where new and existing Diamond Xtra-savings account holders need to maintain a minimum of N5000 and above to qualify for the draw.
“We are going to have 41 winners from all the customers within the North; 30 customers will win N500, 000, 10 customers will win one million naira while one lucky customer will win a Hyundai SUV. We want to encourage our customers to continue to save and win” he said.
The process was supervised by the Consumer Protection Council (CPC), KPMG and Nigerian Lottery Regulatory Commission.
Speaking at the event, Manager at KPMG, Mr Keneth Ukanwa said “We performed an independent audit on system to ensure that the selection is random and fair. We ensure that people who participate in the draw are eligible with genuine Xtra-savings account. We have done our verification and everything you see today is transparent with equal opportunities given to all participants.
During the draw, lucky winners, most of whom were not present, but were contacted on phone were full of surprise and excitement and expressed gratitude to the bank.
The occasioned also featured some of the banks former winners in the promo, who shared their experience with diamond Xtra-savings and encouraged people to join the promo to reap the benefits.
