The security details withdrawn from the Speaker, House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal by the Department of State Security (DSS) has been restored.
Tambuwal’s spokesman, Imam Imam confirmed the development Wednesday evening.
Imam stated that only the DSS have restored its men earlier withdrawn from the Speaker.
The Speaker’s security details were withdrawn on October 30th after his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Sergeant-at-Arms, the security arm of the National Assembly had served as his detail during the absence of the official security details.
