Governor Ifeanyi Uguwanyi of Enugu State has reiterated his
administration’s commitment to implement projects that can inspire
entrepreneurial skills in the people.
Governor Ugwuanyi spoke at a civic reception organized by the seven
communities of Eha Amufu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area in honour of
the former vice chancellor of Michael Okpara University of
Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State, Prof. Hilary Edeoga.
He praised Prof. Edeoga who he said used his position selflessly to
“put smiles on the faces of many” and thanked the people of the
council area for their support to his administration since its
inauguration, adding that rehabilitation of the Ebonyi River bridge
would commence soon.
The former vice chancellor described the reception as a gratifying
experience, noting that the Governor Ugwuanyi administration had
similarly honoured him shortly after his retirement.
Describing the governor’s works on infrastructural development despite
the current economic challenges facing the country as impressive,
Prof. Edeoga canvassed support for the administration and prayed for
its continued success.
