The Nigerian Capital Market tilted downwards at the close of business on Thursday as Market Capitalisation of listed equities on the main board of Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) depreciated by N15.20 billion.
Market Capitalisation fell to N13.43 trillion from the N13.45 trillion recorded a day earlier.
Similarly, the NSE All-Share index declined by 146.04 points from the 40,729.49 basis points to 40,583.45 points.
Scoa shed 24 kobo or 4.89 per cent from the N4.91 opening price to close at N4.67.
Also, Academy Press shed 7 kobo; Transnationwide Express declined by 8 kobo; ABC Transport lost 3 kobo; even as Wema Bank plunged by 4 kobo.
On the other hand, Vono Products added 12 kobo or 9.52 per cent to the N1.26 opening price to close at N1.38. Ikeja Hotel increased by 17 kobo; Premium Breweries leaped by. 24 kobo; even as RT Broscoe gained 4 kobo.
Meanwhile, investors exchanged 273.44 Million units of shares for N2.73 billion in 4,188 deals.
