The electronic selection of the winners was witnessed by officials of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, Consumer Protection Council and thousands of customers of the financial institution.

While three lucky customers were rewarded with the sum of N1million each at the regional draws held in Abuja, Lagos and Enugu states, 640 others smile home with LED televisions, generating sets, decoders, tablets, smart phones and other consolation prizes.

At the Lagos/South-West Regional draw which took place at Broad Street in Lagos Island, Funmilayo Bolanle Odusanya emerged winner of N1million.

At the Abuja/North Regional draw held in Abuja, Nwachukwu Golden Enyinna was rewarded with the same amount, just as Uduyok Francis Charles won N1million at the South-East/South-South draw that took place in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

The FCMB millionaire promo season 2, which commenced in August and run till January 2016, is part of the various initiatives of the financial institution to reward customers for their loyalty and patronage over the year.

It is targeted at all segments of the society and for existing as well as potential savings account customers. The eligible products or accounts for the promo include FCMB basic savings, kids account, Nairawise, e-savings and premium savings.
Speaking on the promo, the Senior Vice President/Divisional Head of Retail of FCMB, Mr. Olu Akanmu, said that
the Millionaire Season 2 Promo, ‘’is aimed at further connecting and rewarding our customers for their loyalty and patronage. It also follows the request of our esteemed customers and our desire to ensure that more of them (both existing and potential) benefit from this exciting reward scheme which has turned dreams to reality’’.

He added that, ‘’as an inclusive lender focused on delivering valued-added products and quality service that translates to exceptional customer experience, the promo is to equally empower our account holders to fulfil their aspirations’’.

Mr. Akanmu assured that, ‘’we will continue to come up with initiatives that would impact on our customers and the society in line with our values as a simple, reliable and helpful bank committed to creating opportunities. We encourage Nigerians to partake in this exercise, because it is an avenue for economic empowerment’’.

On how to participate in the promo, the Divisional Head of Retail explained that that all an existing or new customer of the Bank needs to do is to save N10,000.00 in any of the eligible savings account of his or her choice for 30 days to qualify for the electronic selection of winners where the star prize of N1million and other fantastic prizes will be won. Multiple savings of N10,000.00 will increase chances of winning.

To qualify for the grand finale draws in August, where three customers will each receive N5million, existing and new customers are to save N50,000.00 in any of the eligible accounts for 30 days. Multiple savings of N50,000.00 increases winning chances.
