It will be a battle of the Saints on Friday when St. Finbarr’s College take on St. Gregory’s College in the boys’ final of the GTBank Masters Cup Season 4 at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos.
St. Gregory’s College made it to the final after their memorable win against Western College, who they defeated 2-1 a fortnight ago.
Queens College will be defending the title they won last year against Ansar-Ud Deen Girls High School, Itire in the girls’ final on the same day.
The champions will have their hands full in the final as Ansar-Ud Deen’s Fatimah Oyebanji will hope to add to her 12-goal tally, which she recorded in just four matches.
But Queens College can rely on Dolapo Ariori, whose hat-trick gave her team the ticket to the final.
The winners of each category will get N750, 000, while the second-placed teams will go home with N500,000. The third-placed teams will get N350,000 each.
