President Goodluck Jonathan is expected in Aba, the commercial capital of Abia State on Tuesday to inspect power projects.
He is expected to visit the Alaoji Independent Power Plant being built by the federal government as well as the Geometric Power Plant at Osisioma, a private power plant by former Minister of Power, Prof. Bart Nnaji.
According to Governor Theodore Orji who gave the hint when he received in audience, the Chairman, South-East zone of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Archbishop David Eberechukwu, the President would also hold an interactive meeting with Abians at the Aba Sports Stadium.
He further added that Jonathan would also address a town hall meeting at Owerri, Imo State later in the day.
Orji noted that his administration had continued to maintain a cordial relationship with CAN and churches in the state.
He said the decision of his administration to return some schools to the churches that originally owned them was in recognition of the important role of the church in the society.
