Gunmen who reportedly kidnapped an Assistant Manager with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Lafia branch in Nasarawa, Isaac Bature Gbaja, are demanding N10 million as ransom.
According to reports, Gbaja was abducted on Monday, 13 November 2023 alongside two other unidentified persons.
It was gathered that he was abducted alongside the other victims around 8pm.
Also, it was learnt that he was picked up at his wife’s joint near MACFES Royal Suites, along Kwandere Road, Tudun Gwandara, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The incident is the latest to occur barely 24 hours after a councillor in Lafia Local Government Council, Agidi Bulus Ajeh, who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen regained his freedom.
Meanwhile, there is no confirmation yet concerning the reported kidnap of the CBN staff by the Nasarawa State Police Command.
