Okorocha appoints new Secretary to state govt, nominates commissioners

Governor Rochas Anayo Okorocha of Imo State has appointed Chief Mark Uchendu as the new Secretary to the Government.

The governor also appointed Messrs Kenneth Chidi Ejiogu as Chief of Staff Government House; Chukwuemeka Valentine Duru, Principal Secretary to the Governor; and Mr. Victor Nwanaforo Onyechere, Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations.

Okorocha also appointed Mrs. Ijeoma Igboanusi, Deputy Chief of Staff Domestic operations

The governor also appointed Mr. Bonaventure Akwiwu, Mr. Sunny Chiadi. Mrs. Esther Egburuche. Mr. Patrick Nze, Lady Chinyere Uwandu, Mr. Kelechi Azike, Mrs. Edna Okorie, Engr. Chika Ezeji as commissioner-designates.

A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary,  Sam Onwuemeodo, said  the new appointees  will be sworn-in on Monday, while the names of the commissioners will be forwarded to the State House of Assembly. .
