The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, will on Tuesday, September 23rd present the 2015 budget proposal to the state house of assemble for consideration and approval.
Oshiomhole also forwarded the name of Dennis Idahosa from Oviia South-West Local Government Area as a commissioner nominee to the state legislature for confirmation.
The governor’s message, conveyed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Julius Ihonvbere, and addressed to the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Uyi Igbe, did not, however, indicate the size of the budget.
Speaker of the house, noted that it was the first time a budget estimate presentation would be presented to house of assembly by any state governor in the country.
