The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has urged residents to face the future with courage and wisdom, ‘’because critical days are ahead for critical decisions to be taken on the way forward”.
The party gave this warning while congratulating labour unions in the state, workers and government for finally resolving salary impasse amicably.
The APC attributed the crisis to the ‘’broken economy of the country, which the corrupt and kleptocratic PDP-led Federal Government brought about” .
“‘This”, the party said, ‘will take a lot of sacrifice and belt tightening to fix”.
It went on: Every citizen must be prepared to experience one form of austerity or the other in the mean time, if we are to expeditiously overcome the damage done by the PDP to the nation’s economy.
“Something has to give for better things to happen”.
In a statement by the party’s Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy, the APC berated Osun PDP ‘’which had been trying in vain to make capital out of the salary crisis.’’
The party said: “Of the number of states in the country where this same crisis persisted, it was only in Osun that a satanic twist was orchestrated by the PDP to magnify the sad event.
“‘This is because desperate politicians murderously seeking power will stop at nothing to exploit people’s misfortune for their selfish political ambition”.
