Members of the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party have defiled the advise of elder statesman and chieftain of the party, Chief Edwin Clark by granting waivers to Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and two other governorship aspirants who want to contest its primary in Adamawa State on September 6.
Those granted waivers includes Gen. Buba Marwa(retd.) and Marcus Gundiri.
This was made known in Abuja by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Olisa Metuh, stated this at a press conference on Friday.
According to PDP’s spokesman, the people of the state would be left to pick anyone they like among the 14 aspirants that have picked the party’s nomination form.
