The Independent National Electoral Commission has put the percentage of Permanent Voter Cards collected by voters at 81.98 per cent, a slight increase on the initial 81.2 per cent.
The new figure was based on the report released by the commission on Sunday.
According to figure released, Jigawa, Bauchi and Zamfara states top the list of states with highest collection of the PVCs.
While the electoral body put the total number of registered voters at 68,833,476, it said that only 56,431,255 PVCs had been collected.
In Jigawa State, which has a total of 1,831,276 registered voters, 1,757,658 voters had picked their PVCs, indicating a 95.98 per cent collection rate.
Zamfara State with 1,495,717 registered voters has recorded the collection of 1,435,452 PVCs which amounts to 95.97 per cent.
Bauchi State came third with 95.76 percent PVC collection out of its 2,054,125 registered voters. This means that 1,967,081 voters had picked their PVCs.
Ogun State is, however, leading from the rear. Only 1, 125,657 out of the 1,829,534 registered voters had collected their PVCs. This figure represents 61.53 per cent.
Lagos which has the highest number of registered voters (5,822,207) has 65.25 per cent PVC collection. The figure released by the commission indicated that 3,799,274 PVCs had been delivered to Lagos.
In the Federal Capital Territory, only 64.56 per cent of the 881,472 registered voters had collected their PVCs, meaning that 569,109 voters had obtained their cards.
The released report, however, did not show the total figures that INEC had distributed across the states, unlike in the previous number of PVC collection released by the electoral body.
