The House of Representatives has constituted the standing committees of the House, over four months after the eighth house was inaugurated.
Just before plenary was adjourned on Thursday, October 22, the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara read out the chairmen and deputies of the 96 standing committees to oversight various ministries, departments and agencies.
The standing committees of the House have increased from 89 in the immediate past 7th Assembly as new committees were created while other committees were split.
