The terrorists, who bombed the Abuja-Kaduna train, killed nine persons and kidnapped about 70 passengers in March, have released one of the pregnant captives.
A video of the released pregnant woman clad in black abaya (gown) and black face mask, went viral on social media at the weekend.
Investigation revealed that the woman was released by her abductors on compassionate ground after spending 48 days in captivity alongside other captives.
In the video, the woman called on the Federal Government to negotiate with the terrorists and secure the release of the other captives.
She said it was imperative to do so because of the uncertainty surrounding the fate of other captives who are still the terrorists’ den.
The woman had said that the terrorists took good care of them, saying that they were also fed very well.
Besides, she said, their abductors also took care of their medication.
The release of the pregnant woman brings to three the number of the abducted train passengers who have so far regained their freedom.
The first was the Managing Director of Bank of Agriculture, Alwan Ali-Hassan, followed by the son of Professor Ango Abdullahi, Sadik.
