Ekenechukwu Bartholomew Nnalue was Wednesday presented with the N10 million grand prize in the Fidelity Bank Get Alert in the Millions promo at a ceremony which held at the bank’s regional office in Abuja.
At the event, which was witnessed by officials of National Lottery Commission, various other winners also went home with consolation prizes ranging from N2 million to household materials such as generators and television sets.
Speaking at the occasion, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank, Mr Mohammed Balarabe explained that Fidelity Bank commenced its savings promo about 10 years ago and has so far executed seven in the series.
Through the initiative, customers have previously won duplexes, cars, scholarships and hundreds of millions of naira in cash.
According to him, the current Get Alert in Millions promo consisted of three draws and a grand draw adding that overall, customers won about N110 million in cash from the promo, which commenced in 2017.
“Fidelity Bank believes in savings culture since it is an opportunity to prepare for the rainy day.”
Aside Nnalue who is a trader at Ariaria Market in Aba, Jenifer Nnana, a policewoman also from Abia State won N2 million while Clara Okafor from Gwagwalada, Abuja won N1 million.
A highly elated Nnalue expressed gratitude to the management of the bank for initiating the promo saying that he opened the account only in 2017
