Irate youths besieged major streets of Makurdi on Wednesday to protest the killings of people by Fulani herdsmen on Tuesday.
The youths nearly mobbed the state governor, Samuel Ortom who tried to calm them down at Wurukum junction in Makurdi where the youths gathered.
They told the governor to send for President Buhari to come and address them, as they shouted on the governor, “no we don’t want to listen to you, send for Mr. President to come and address us.”
It took a long time before the youths could calm down to listen to the governor. – Punch.
