In a swift reaction to the provisional list of players for the Super Eagles released yesterday, the National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters’ Club (NFSC), Rev. Samuel Ikpea, has given a pass mark to coach Gernot Rohr.
According him, the list is a reflection of the desire of the Franco- German handler to present the best players possible for the country at the mundial.
” I must commend Gernot Rohr on the list. It is a sign of his plans to take the team far in the world cup,” Ikpea stated.
He also praised the coach for the inclusion of home based players particularly, Dele Ajiboye and Junior Lokosa in the list. He described it as a good development for the local football.
