President Muhammadu Buhari has said that there will be no sacred cows in his fight against corruption in the country.
Positing that nobody would be spared in his fight against the menace, Buhari said nobody would escape justice in his bid to rid Nigeria of the cankerworm.
Buhari disclosed this on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in an interview with CNN’s Christine Amanpour, in Washington D.C., as part of his ongoing official trip to the United States.
He was answering questions from Amanpour, who asked for his reaction on the war against graft, given that some of his party stalwarts were alleged to be among corrupt Nigerians.
“Nobody will escape justice, as long as corruption is concerned. We will fight corruption no matter who is involved, the President said.
