Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state yesterday declared that the hard times brought by the development in the oil sector of the nation’s economy, his administration would continue to navigate to deliver services to the people of the state.
He also said that he would continue to dedicate his services of his administration to God for guidance to ensure realization of the objectives of his administration.
The governor was speaking yesterday during the formal presentation and launching of calendar by Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Prayer Organization at the Old Eastern House of Assembly, Enugu where he also unveiled a democracy house run by the group that campaigned for him during the last general election.
Governor Ugwuanyi assured the group that his administration would continue to offer support to this prayer organization, noting that through continued support and prayers his administration will continue to navigate.
He, therefore, commended the organizers of the prayer organization for their prayers and support to his administration, and he received commendations from religious and other leaders that graced the event yesterday.
Earlier, the special adviser to the governor on Political Matters, Hon. Emeka Mmadu, thanked governor Ugwuanyi for finding time to be with them, adding that the projects embarked upon by the administration coupled with the job creation activities of the Ugwuanyi administration have continued to endear him to the populace.
Also speaking, the chairman of the occasion, a business mogul and former governorship aspirant in the state, Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu, noted that “Gov. Ugwuanyi is God-sent to the people of Enugu State, a man who discharges his duties with the fear of God, in such a manner that thrills the people”.
