Nigeria’s Pillar Of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike has charged the Nigeria U-20 female national team, the Falconets, to get past Spain in the quarter final clash in the ongoing FIFA Under-20 women’s World Cup in France.

In a release made available to the press, the sports philanthropist-cum-businessman expressed his confidence in the abilities of the young ladies to make Nigeria proud.

“The abilities of our ladies have never been in doubt. And the tough 1-1 draw against China, was a testimonial of the determination of the team to go further in the championship,” Ejidike stated.

“This country is blessed with abundant talents in all fields of human endeavours. And I believe with proper preparations and encouragement for our various athletes, our sports shall be great again,” Ejidike, who is also a board member of the Nigeria Karate Federation, enthused.

The Falconets will tomorrow face free- scoring Spain in a quarter final match of the championship.
