Paul Pogba’s world-record £89million transfer to Manchester United is being investigated by FIFA.
Pogba, 24, returned to Old Trafford last August from Juventus in a blaze of publicity.
A United spokesman would only confirm that Fifa had been supplied with information when Pogba moved to England.
French reports claim Fifa have been investigating the Pogba deal since September 16.
It is believed they are looking into allegations of third party ownership, which is banned in England.
Raiola refused to comment, but has previously denied Pogba was owned by a third party, although he claimed Juventus were not the only owner of the player’s image rights.
The book Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football yesterday claimed Pogba is paid £11.5m a year by United, the club he originally left for just £500,000 in 2012.
That breaks down to a basic salary of £165,000 a week plus image rights payments of £2.87m every season, with other bonuses also included.
It is understood Fifa are looking at the £41.39m slice of the pie claimed to be paid to Raiola.
He is alleged to have already secured £22.8m of the £89m Pogba transfer fee for himself.
And the Italian-born fixer is said to be due to get further payments of £16.39m from United payable in five instalments, plus another £2.2m from Pogba himself.
Pogba quit United for Juve because he was frustrated at lack of opportunities under Sir Alex Ferguson.
He flourished in Serie A, winning four league titles between 2012 and 2016.
At the same time, the powerful midfielder made himself a mainstay of the French national team.
Pogba’s displays at Euro 2016 attracted the attention of new United boss Jose Mourinho.
After a protracted transfer saga, lasting several weeks, Pogba eventually signed for United last August and has appeared in almost 50 league and cup games this season.
A Juventus spokesman said they had received no communication from Fifa.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic — another Raiola client — is said to have banked even more from his one-year stay at Old Trafford.
The Swede is paid a basic wage of £367,000 per week.
