Senegal star, Sadio Mane was among the goals for Liverpool, as they recorded a 3-1 win over Arsenal to move into the top four.
The Gunners were without the services of Mesut Ozil (ill), while Alexis Sanchez was dropped ot the bench in favour of Olivier Giroud.
The Reds broke the deadlock in the ninth as Mane’s pass found Roberto Firmino, who controlled well before firing home from six-yards out.
Arsenal were struggling to impose themselves on the game, and were carved open by the Liverpool attack on a few occasions.
Liverpool eventually doubled their lead in the 39th minute as Firmino turned provider to pick out Sadio Mane, who drilled the ball into the far corner.
Arsene Wenger introduced Sanchez for Francis Coquelin at the start of the second half.
The Gunners pulled a goal back in the 64th minute as Sanchez played in Danny Welbeck, who chipped the ball over Simon Migonlet.
Wenger then opted for a double change after 74 minutes as Theo Walcott and Lucas Perez replaced Welbeck and Giroud.
However, Liverpool sealed the win in stoppage time as substitute, Divock Origi’s well-timed pass found Georginio Wijnaldum, who slotted into the bottom corner, – Africa Sports24.
