The chairman, Nigeria Football Federation Technical and Development Committee, Felix Anyansi Agwu has confirmed to that the Football House will meet with the representatives of out-of-contract Super Eagles’ coach, Stephen Keshi tomorrow in Abuja.
The meeting will centre on the new contract offered to the ‘Big Boss’ and his reactions to some of the terms itemised in it.
Anyansi disclosed to Goal that Keshi shouldn’t have proceeded to the media to express his grievances about the condition attached to his new contract offer when he still has the contact of his employers.
He said the meeting is at the instance of the Big Boss and that the NFF obliged it so as to put an end to the raging war of words between both parties.
“There is a meeting between the NFF and Keshi on Wednesday in Abuja,” Anyansi said.
“Recently the NFF wrote to Keshi and displayed their displeasure at the turn of event regarding the contract stipulations sent to him. The letter was also meant for him to give us a feedback.
“Keshi replied us through his lawyer and requested for a meeting which is coming up on Wednesday in Abuja.
“We are going to have a discussion with his lawyer for us to look at the so called grey areas. It is the way it should be and not what he did that he went to the pages of the newspapers to start unnecessary tantrum.
“The conditions enshrined in the contract shouldn’t have been revealed in the media because it wasn’t meant for them,” he concluded. Tribune
