The Nigerian Football Supporters Club (NFSC) has hailed the impact of women in sports development in Nigeria.
National Chairman of the club ,Rev.Sam Ikpea made this recommendation as part of activities marking the international womens day .
He said Nigerian Women have demonstrated patriotism and resilent by winning laurels for the country.
“We join other members of the sporting community to thank and celebrate our women for thier giant stride in nation building through sports .
The likes of chioma ajunwa,Mary Onyali, olawunmi majekodunmi,Bose kaffo,Gloria Anozie,Florence omagbemi,osaro amadin,Dr Oluyomi Oluwasanmi ,Aishat falode played key role in Nigeria success in sports .
Ikpea further called for more slots for women in sports; technically and adminstratively .
I believe is time to have more female sports members in our sports Federation.
