Supporters’ Club extends Russia 2018 lottery

The Nigeria Football Supporters Club  (NFSC) have announced June 1 as the new draw date for the Russia 2018 Lottery which will see 20 fans winning an all-expense paid trip to the World Cup.
The draw date was originally scheduled for April 30 but according to the President General of the NSFC, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo, “the low sales of tickets due to poor awareness means there has to be an extension of this World Cup lottery.”
The extension, Ladipo stated, was approved by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, who will have their officials present for the draw which will hold at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
Ladipo urged football loving Nigerians to take advantage of the lottery put in place by Telecom Youth Games Limited in partnership with the NFSC adding it would be a life-time experience for any of the winners.
In order for large participations, the ticket which costs N200 has now been reduced to N100 and the lucky winners will watch all the three group matches of the Super Eagles in Russia.
Ladipo added that tickets can be purchased at the Headquarters of the NFSC Surulere, Lagos; all states’ chapters of the NFSC in Nigeria; NANF Football House, Oregun, Lagos; Lagos Country Club, Ikeja, and some designated sports shop across Nigeria.
“The fans only need a valid international passport. Once they have their tickets, they will be issued FIFA Fan ID which will cover them in Russia as they will have their passport stamped at the point of entry in Russia,” he explained.
