The Kano Governor and All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has rallied all critical stakeholders of the party in the state to endorse his septuagenarian Deputy, Dr. Umar Ganduje as his successor.
The development was the outcome of a crucial meeting by the All Progressive Congress stakeholders in the state Friday morning.
The marathon meeting that lasted over 7 hours also endorsed the aspirants for senatorial positions. They are former military administrator of Kaduna state, Brigadier Lawan Jafar Isa for Kano central; Kabiru Gaya, Kano south; while former Deputy Governor during the administration of Ibrahim Shekarau, Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo would fly APC senatorial flag from Kano north.
