Stallion NMN, manufacturers and distributors of Nissan automobiles, has appointed ASD Motors Nigeria Limited as an independent Nissan dealer to cater for growing Nissan clientele in North Central Nigeria and its adjoining states.

The inauguration brings to seven the number of independent Nissan dealers appointed by Stallion NMN.

They include: Gbose Automobiles Limited Ilorin – Kwara State, RealPoint West Africa Limited Warri – Delta State, Emmanuella Motors Limited Awka – Anambra State, SATA Motors Benin, Enebros Motors Uyo – Akwa Ibom State, AC Okocha Motors Asaba – Delta State.

Addressing ASD Motors’ executives including the Chairman of the Group, Alhaji Sani Dauda, at the sign-on ceremony in Lagos, the Stallion NMN Managing Director, Parvir Singh said: “the strategic appointment of dealers across the country is in line with Nissan business expansion plan to guarantee seamless access to valued Nissan products and services with provision of quality customer satisfaction.”

He enjoined the new dealer to be steadfast and embrace Nissan global vision of being “customers’ lifetime companion while also moving closer to them to make Nissan brand customers’ preferred application.”

The West African conglomerate Stallion Group owned Nissan Motors Nigeria said ASD Motors has met the company’s prerequisite for independent dealership and can accordingly provide sales and technical support to teeming customers in Kaduna and its environs. ASD is an experienced automotive concern with significant years of experience spanning more than three decades.

The Stallion NMN director however cautioned the new dealer to constantly embrace Nissan standard of operation and ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.

Adding that “a car isn’t just a means of transportation that links people to people but a life space that occupies a central role in people’s lives,” Mr. Singh said it was time Nissan took its rightful place in the country’s automobile market.

An internationally acclaimed brand, Nissan products cut across various applications with class-leading models in the passenger car, SUV and commercial vehicle segments.

The brand has consistently made remarkable strides both in local and international markets with quality and emotional appeal as evidenced in the brand’s slogan – “Innovation that Excites.”

In Nigeria for instance, Nissan became the first original equipment manufacturer to take advantage of the Federal Government’s automotive policy in 2014 that was aimed at attracting investment and became the first indigenous plant to assemble vehicles locally, with the production of Nissan Patrol 4×4, NP 300 bakkie and Almera car.

The Stallion NMN director also stressed the need for accelerated growth in the Nigerian market, remarking that success was really dependent on collaborative partnerships between Nissan and the respective arms of governments and the entire public.

Responding on behalf of the team, Group Managing Director, ASD, Mallam Shehu Sani Dauda said: “ASD was inspired by Stallion’s commitment to the National Automotive Industry Policy and her determination to transform Nigeria from a mere importer of vehicles to an automobile manufacturing hub, and we are delighted to be associated with this dream and importantly, Nissan.”

He said: “This alliance will enhance our product range and presence in the Northern part of the country with market-leading products that can serve customers in almost every sphere of the market.

“Our long tradition and well-known reputation with Nissan array of Industry-leading products and services is a dependable recipe for success in our region and beyond. We therefore look forward to a long lasting and successful cooperation,” Mallam Shehu summed.
