We may return to militancy, says Asari-Dokubo

A former Niger-Delta militant, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, says with the defeat of President Goodluck Jonathan, he and other militants may be forced to return to the creeks.

Asari-Dokubo, who hails from the same state as Jonathan, said the voting pattern showed that the South-West and the North ganged up against the South-South and South-East geo-political zones.

The ex-militant said in a statement by his spokesperson, Rex Anighoro, that it was unfair that the minorities were being emasculated by the majority ethnic groups.

He said he feared that the government of the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, would be vicious.

Asari-Dokubo said, “The conditions that advanced the need to embrace the creeks have been sadly re-energised. It is clear that a vicious government who may maim and murder the voice of the so-called minorities may have just been birthed.

“Indeed integration is non-existent as regional gang-ups and supremacy is symbolic with this victory.”

The ex-militant, who had in January said he and his colleagues would wreak havoc if Jonathan lost the election, praised the President for being a true statesman.

He said it was the struggle of the militants that led to the Jonathan presidency.

Asari-Dokubo said since the South-South had lost the presidency, ex-militants would meet to decide the next line of action.

He said, “While President Jonathan enjoys his moments and basks in the euphoria of a new world-renowned statesman having congratulated Muhammadu Buhari, we must quickly be reminded that our struggle was never about Jonathan or about the presidency.

“President Jonathan is an establishment beneficiary of our struggle, our sweat and blood that many bled and died for. He was never in the struggle and he can never wish away our collective march for statesmanship.

“Yes indeed, to an extent, he was a mitigating factor in self-determination pursuit as we went on sabbatical. This mitigation he seems to have willingly repudiated. The days coming will be critical. We shall study all the conditions and consult widely before determining the way forward for our collective existence and survival as a people. The days coming shall either drive the quest of integration or further separate us.” – Punch.

Asari Dokubo should be informed that the coming to power of GMB is divine; anyone or group of people that attempt to stand before him is consequently standing to oppose God. In his own interest, he should stop his threat because no one is afraid. We shall hand him and his cohorts in crime over to God for judgment- anyone who stands before a moving train will surely regret it – a word is good for the wise!

shut up ur mouth! if you don’t know what to say. who said that buhari is God’s send, u liar, after rigging the election with jega. don’t try to put God into the rubbish they did. God is Holy. And Goodluck Jonathan is the Holy Man here.

The North and South-west are only after the Oil in the South-south and East, when they take the oil they use it to develop their states and left the people that have the oil in poverty. They all have at-least 10 private oil wells. Enough is Enough. If buhari want peace, let him be fair in his ruling. A word is Good for the wise! Asari Dokubo is WATCHING!!

The so-called Mujahideen can no longer assert himself. His “watching!!” will amount to an ant’s watching in this New Nigeria! Halleluyah! Welcome on board Saint Muhammadu Buhari.

Oh, pity! Tribal bigotry and divisive ethnicity have both combined to ruin and blind you. You must be very young, perhaps born in the mid-1970s; that’s why you will support an Ijaw (ndi njor), especially a corrupt weakling like GEJ. How I wish that Chief Sam Mbakwe (the first civilian governor of Imo State) or Dr Ozumba Mbadiwe were alive. They would have educated those ignorant young and old Igbo like you about what Ndinjor did to the Ndigbo during the civil war and especially how the refused them their land properties at the end of the war. Whilst the Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani with godly empathy returned not only the rents collected on those properties during the war, the properties were also returned upon proof of ownership to their Igbo owners, the Ijaw bluntly refused until Sam Mbakwe convinced the courts in Port Harcourt to do the needful. favyl, you will receive some eye-opening salve if you would care to ask your enlightened older ones the relevant questions.

you are talking falasy, what u are saying here are old stories that has nothing to do with the present. the hausa and yoruba did that because they won the civil war, that they are in control. they knew that they spoilt alot of igbo properties, hausa and yoruba fought against the igbo.

Ndi Ijaw has learned their lessons since then.

If the Igbo leaders you mentioned are alive, I know they will be supporting jonathan not a bokoharam.

Do you know why they killed okadigbo? Because he found out the secret plans of hausas and yorubas, only to rotate the seat of the presidency within themselves, that the southsouth and southeast cannot be a president in Nigeria.

you’re calling Dr. jonathan a weakling! while you are more than a weakling, a totally blind folded igbo person u are.

may be u are an IGBO MUSLEM, if you’re a christian, u will not be calling a Bokoharam a saint.
where were u when buhari said that he will make Dr. Jonathan’s rule ungovernable. Your sole called buhari warned the army – if you are killing the bokoharams, you should know that is the Hausas you are killing. What good is in that your buhari. They frustrated God sent President and good hearted president rule.

Once again, you are totally blind!!!!!!!

Oh, how my pity goes out to you, favyl ! You clearly cut the image of both a hypocrite and an incorrigible person. Since you have chosen to remain in darkness, I declare that you will forever grope in the dark labyrinth – never finding the way out!

I dare you, Mujahideen Asari Dokubo, to return to your so-called Niger Delta militancy! You will see what the great GMB will do. GMB is not a corrupt weakling like GEJ and you ought to know this truth!

Oh, GMB has been great even before March 28. Yes, he is great because he is incorruptible, honest, saintly – no opening his mouth to answer any of his vociferous critics. He has kept his integrity intact ever since he was born! Are these not enough for GMB to be described as a great man! Plus, he is a saint!

Favyl, your English grammar is very faltering, too poor! I can now see that you are an illiterate babbler; and you don’t have any sense of history, otherwise how would Obasanjo have stopped the ethno-religious militia while GEJ “was deputy to [Yar’Adua]”? Obasanjo was no longer in that government, so it would have been unwholesome meddlesomeness for him to be so overreaching! And what is “an information weakling”? You are a disgrace! You are not different from those illiterate Igbo moneybags who say, “I HAS money” and “I have CASTED my vote!”

Asari this is gud because around bugari are inhuman and nit magnanimous. The hext level of the struggle is outright self determination since this marriage cannot be sustained.
For the manifest conspiracy against Jonathan by the same firces that ganged up against Ojukwu as Governor of Eadtern Region ,this is gang up too many and wemust respond adequately.
