Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Sunday visited former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, at the latter’s Hill-top residence in Minna, Niger State.
Atku arrived IBB’s mansion from Minna Airport around 12:35pm where he held closed-door meeting with the former military president for about four hours.
Although detail of what transpired at the meeting was sketchy as journalists were barred from entering the former leader’s residence, sources said the visit may not be unconnected with the presidential ambition of the former vice president.
The Media Assistant to the former vice president, Mr. Paul Ibe told journalists who seek to know what the visit was about on telephone that his principal was on a private one, saying “Atiku will not speak to anyone”.
Atiku’s supporters, who were mainly youths, also could not gain access into the former military president’s residence and had to wait across the entrance while the meeting between the two leaders lasted.
He however shunned them on his way from the residence even as they shout his praises and waved at him. He also could not wave back as the glasses of the BMW 7 series conveying him was winded up.
The supporters held placards with various inscriptions hailing the former vice president and giving reasons how he is the messiah Nigerians craved for.

Atiku Abubakar, Man of the people………….A better and greater Nigeria is possible with the Waziri Adamawa.
