Another bomb blast rocks Nyanya, Abuja

Few weeks after a bomb blast in Nyanya, a suburb of Federal Capital Territory, Abuja that claimed over 73 lives and wounded many, yet another bomb blast was detonated this evening at the crowded area.

 

According to an eye witness who spoke to THE CITIZEN, a deafening noise was heard and a lot of people including commuters started scampering for safety.

 

At press time, no clear casualty has been reported.  Nyanya is a surbub between Abuja the federal Capital and Nasarawa State.

 

It could be recalled that the last one that happened on Monday, a forth-night ago at about 7.00am. The bomb blast occurred at the ever busy Nyanya Al Rufai bus stop.

 

Several persons are reportedly killed and other severely injured.

As at the time of this report, there was serious gridlock along the expressway and security personnel and men of the Federal Road Safety Commission.
