Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has berated President Muhammadu Buhari over his silence on the death threat issued by bandits.
On Sunday that a video showing the bandits mercilessly flogging the kidnap victims of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack had gone viral.
However, in another video, the bandits threatened to kill President Buhari and Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.
“This is our message to the government of Nigeria and just as you have seen these people here, by God’s grace, you will see your leaders; your senators and governors will come before us.
“These ones you are seeing here, we will keep some as our slaves and sell them off just as our Imam told you in the past.
“Just like the Chibok girls that were sold off, we will equally sell these ones as slaves. If you don’t adhere to our demands, we will kill the ones we need to kill and sell the remaining. By God’s grace, El-Rufai, Buhari, we will bring you here,” the bandits threatened.
Reacting via Twitter, Yesufu tweeted: “Muhammadu Buhari @MBuhari is an absolute disgrace! Terrorists dared to say they will abduct the Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and there is cowardly silence everywhere.
“The terrorists are not currently under fire. Kai! What an utter waste of existence!”
