The Minister of Aviation, Chief Osita Chidoka, has charged airport managers to improve on their jobs as mechanism is being put in place to appraise their both individual and collective performances.
Speaking Monday in Abuja during a parley with regional general managers, airport managers and terminal managers of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Chidoka said that henceforth, performance would be evaluated for greater output and productivity.
According to him, the ministry “will monitor, measure and improve to achieve the goal of making us commit to what we want to achieve.”
He had earlier engaged project consultants, who updated him on the ongoing airport projects.
Also attending the parley, which featured the managers of the 30 airports across the country, was the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Aviation, Mr. Yemi Adelakum, who challenged them to be IT compliant and improve on their communication lines for greater productivity.
