Governor of Kaduna State, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero has conceded defeat to his rival, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Samuel Aruwan, spokesperson of Kaduna State APC Campaign Council confirmed this in a statement on Sunday.
According to Aruwan, Yero who conceded defeat called (telephone) El-Rufai at around 3:00 pm.
“He congratulated El-Rufai and wish him success, he prayed for peace and development of Kaduna state and Nigeria at large.
“El-Rufai in his response thanked Yero and wished all the best and hope to see him soon.”
