An All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain, Mr. Ugochukwu Chris Aladum and the entire Chris Aladum family have hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of cabinet members from across all the parts of Nigeria, saying that “President Tinubu’s move prioritizes national interest over regional concerns.”
The PUNCH reported on Monday that President Tinubu inaugurated the new ministers as members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) after swearing in 45 ministers cleared by the Senate.
The inauguration was held at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja.
Mr. Ugochukwu Chris Aladum, while congratulating the appointment of the Women Leader of the party, Dr. Mary Alile Idele, urged her to bring her wealth of experience in philanthropic and humanitarian activism to bear on the mandate of galvanizing Nigerian women to work assiduously for the realization of the renewed hope agenda of the President Tinubu-led administration.
He enjoined all ministerial appointees to shun corruption and work selflessly for the nation.
Mr. Ugochukwu in the same vein felicitated with the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, on his appointment and urged him to bring his long history and experience in the field to bear.
He affirmed he was positive that the newly-appointed ministers would deliver on the renewed hope agenda of Mr. President.
The APC Chieftain added that he was confident the police force would be fully reformed under IGP Egbetokun.
In his final remark, he seized the medium to commend President Tinubu for hitting the ball running in quickly appointing his cabinet, adding that only a driven man like Mr. President was capable of doing that.
Mr. Ugochukwu also congratulated his brother and friend, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, on his appointment as the chief of Staff to the President, saying it was truly well deserved.
He saluted his brother, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodimma, for securing Imo State despite the security challenges in the Eastern States, praying God to continue to protect him.
Mr. Ugochukwu saluted Nigeria and Nigerians for their unity and perseverance praying that the country would witness peace and unity under the new administration.
