The Nigerian Army on Thursday disclosed that that 12 serving officers have been sent to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) for investigation.
A terse statement by the Acting Director Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, stated that 3 serving Major Generals, and one retired, 3 Brigadier Generals, 4 Colonels and 1 Lieutenant Colonel were to face the anti-graft agency.
The statement added that at the end of investigations by the EFCC, culpable officers would be be tried by a military Court Martial.
