Seven persons were gunned down early Thursday in Egbeda, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers state by masked gunmen.
The killing is coming less than four days after unknown gunmen killed 17 people in Omoku, in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni local government area of the state.
Among those killed was a lawyer recently called to bar. No reason has been adduced for the killing yet.
