Stallion Motors has introduced another made-in-Nigeria vehicle to the market; it is the Hyundai Grand i10, a car built for the family.

The unveiling of the Hyundai model at an interactive session with motoring journalists in Lagos on Friday came a few months after the firm’s presentation of locally assembled Nissan Patrol vehicles to President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja

The Hyundai Grand i10, according to Stallion, is an elegantly designed family sedan that comes in two variants with five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmission powered by 1.25 Kappa Dual VTVT engine, respectively.

The vehicle is built for people looking for exceptionally low weight cars that maximize fuel consumption.

The Head of Sales and Marketing, Hyundai Motors Nigeria, a division of Stallion Group, Mr. Jatin Nadkarni, said the vehicle was the fallout of the recently inaugurated Federal Government’s National Automotive Industrial Plan.

He said the Hyundai Grand i10 is a proof that a comfortable and spacious car doesn’t have to be cumbersome.

“And that was Hyundai Motors’ conviction when it went to the drawing board to design this exceptionally cultured family sedan that will soon become the toast of most automobile freaks in the country,” Nadkarni said.
