The Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed has hinted of his plan to decamp to another party soon, blaming the All Progressive Congress (APC) for victimization and failing to meet the yearnings and aspirations of members, especially those in the state.
At the monthly town hall meeting with members of the All Progressives Congress from the Kwara central zone, the state Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed said the meeting was convened to get their views on whether to remain in the APC or not. Representatives of the women, youths, artisans and others who spoke called for defection to the Peoples Democratic Party.
Governor Ahmed thanked them for showing their displeasure to the manner they are being treated in the party and assured them that whatever decision arrived at would be communicated to them.
