The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola has accused the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu of repaying his trust with betrayal.
Aregbesola made this known while addressing members of the APC ahead of the Osun State governorship primary election scheduled to hold on Saturday, February 19th.
The minister also accused Tinubu and an ex-governor of Osun State, Bisi Akande, of forcing the current governor of the state, Gboyega Oyetola, on the people.
He stated further that Oyetola had not been able to record any achievement since he was sworn into office in 2018.
“Oyetola will be removed from office the same way a former Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode was removed after one term for working against the laid down rules of the APC,” Aregbesola said.
He then called for support for a former Secretary to the State Government, Moshood Adeoti, in the state’s APC Saturday’s governorship primary. – ThisNigeria.
