Afrobeat star Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Tife Balogun, has sparked excitement online after teasing what appears to be his debut single.
The 14-year-old shared a short video on his Instagram page on Sunday with the caption: “Champion’s Arrival videographer, DIKASTUDIOS, producer iamhosana_.”
The video, which has garnered over 30,900 likes and more than 1,000 comments, shows Tife performing a rap verse filled with confidence and youthful energy.
In the clip, he delivers lines that many fans have described as bold and self-assured, saying, “Shoutout to the OGs in the game, but it’s time to pass on the baton,” and “I’ve got zero competition.”
Tife is the first son of Wizkid and his former partner, Shola Ogudu.
The video quickly went viral, drawing a flood of reactions on social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, where users praised his delivery and confidence, with some hinting that he might be following in his father’s footsteps.
