Former President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has felicitated with the Cross River State Governor Senator Ben Ayade on the occasion his 50th birthday describing him as a worthy steward to the people of his State.
In a message of goodwill the former President personally signed, Dr. Jonathan prayed for God’s grace of long life and wished Senator Ayade victory as he seeks to be re-elected as the Governor of Cross River State. Governor Ayade turns 50 years on Saturday.
A statement by Mr. Ikechukwu Eze, the former President’s media adviser, noted that Jonathan further described Senator Ayade as a committed patriot who has diligently served the nation in different capacities.
The statements said: “In these years of your existence on earth, you have been a committed patriot and a blessing to the people of Cross Rivers State, and Nigeria at large.
“You have served as a university lecturer and a federal legislator. As a Governor, you are a light of hope and a worthy steward to the people you serve.
“I join your family and loved ones to congratulate you on this occasion of your 50th birthday and wish you success in the forthcoming elections as you seek to be re-elected as Governor of your State. This will
enable you continue with your people-oriented policies and consolidate on the achievements of your administration.”
